Insurance requirements for interconnected generators are defined in our distributed generation manual here. Check with your insurance carriers to determine eligibility and costs prior to purchasing equipment. Renewable energy is produced from sources that are constantly replenished and will never run out.

The companies below have worked with Butler Rural Electric Cooperative members to install distributed generation systems. The cooperative has not received complaints from members about these companies. The list does not make claims about the cost or quality of work of these companies and is non-inclusive. Butler Rural Electric Cooperative does not make recommendations for distributed generation system installers.
