Members with underground electric lines have a pad-mount transformer and/or junction cabinet located near their home. The transformer is the large green box sitting on a fiberglass pad.

For the safety of members and employees and to ensure the equipment is well kept and maintained, the cooperative inspects the junction box, transformer and pad-mount routinely.

Please keep landscaping 10 feet away from the front side and three feet from the other sides of the fiberglass pad and box. This equipment is owned by the cooperative and for your safety and the safety of our crews, we must have reasonable access to it. We respect your effort and care of maintaining landscaping at your home, but if the landscaping prohibits crews from safely and accurately performing maintenance and repairs, we will remove it to the best of our ability.
