Be notified how and when you want

Sign up to receive email, text, and/or voice notifications for Billing, Usage, Service and other related reasons via your SmartHub account. Notifications can be sent to your cell phone, tablet or computer.

Payment Confirmation
Peak Alert
Power Outage
High Usage


On the SmartHub mobile app:

To Manage Contacts:

  • Under more at the bottom, click on Settings and Contact Methods.
  • Add your phone number.
  • Click "Receive Text Messages."
  • Accept Terms & Conditions.
  • Complete verification.

To Manage Notifications:

  • Under more at the bottom, click on Settings and Manage Notifications.
  • Select the category and notifications you would like to add/remove.
  • Select the contacts you would like to add/remove for each notification.
  • Save any changes.


On a computer: butlerrural.smarthub.coop

To Manage Contacts:

  • Under the Settings tab click Contact Methods.
  • Add Email or Add Phone.
  • Check the Action Pen box. pen
  • Check Yes to "Receive Text Messages" box.
  • Save.
  • Agree to Terms & Conditions.
  • Complete verification.

To Manage Notifications:

  • Under the Settings tab click Manage Notifications.
  • Select the category dropdown you would like to add/remove.
  • Select the Add Email or Add Phone to add/remove for each notification.
  • Save any changes.
