Like it or not, artificial intelligence seems inescapable. Even a quick Google search produces an AI-generated smorgasbord of results, rather than a simple list of links. AI is even shaping conversations about the future of energy.

With summer in full swing, it's common to experience higher electric bills due to increased air conditioning use. Butler Rural Electric Cooperative is here to help you save.
Butler Rural Electric Cooperative is governed by a nine-person board of trustees. You have a say in who’s on the board and can vote for board members each spring.
More than 450 members tuned in to this year’s annual meeting. The meeting was led by Board of Trustees President David Evans, General Manager Tom Wolfenbarger, and Attorney Lee Geiger. The meeting began with a prayer from board member Scott Lessing and a pledge led by Butler Rural Electric Cooperative’s employees.

When you flip a switch, electricity is there – instant, reliable, and ready to power your day. Behind that simple moment is a carefully coordinated system made of many grid power players, all working together to keep the lights on.
